  1. Preparation For Scanning:

  2. •Using Image Size as a “resolution calculator” for scanning film.

  3. (This will allow you to determine your scanning resolution based on the output size needed for the image.)

  4. Using an Epson Flatbed Scanner with Epson Scan Software:

  6. •Scanning slides and negatives with Epson Scan Software.

  7. •Scan setting for BW negatives in RGB channels (recommended).

  8. •Scan settings for Color negatives in RGB channels.

  9. Using an Epson Flatbed Scanner with Image Capture Software:

  10.      (Note:  You have to do this on the Epson 2400 scanners.  Then will not work with Epson Scan Software).
