  • American Universities an alphabetical list, of institutions of higher education.


  • ASSIST statewide student transfer information for California.


  • BRAINTRACK: university-index index to over 7100 higher education institutions worldwide.


  • CollegeSource Online features over 10,200 College Catalogs including 2-year, 4-year, graduate, and professional schools. (to use this resource off campus select this link)

  • College Majors 101 is a great way to education yourself about different college majors. , as well as what you can expect academically if you pursue these majors. Much of the content includes online videos.

  • College Navigator This federal website contains lots of data on the nation's colleges and universities. Using the College Navigator's school search engine, you can search the country for schools based on your criteria.


  • Universities. COM provides information about On-Line (Distance Learning) and traditional (On-Campus) education.


  • U.S. News Online .edu is designed to help users choose a college or graduate school.


  • U.S. Universities list of regionally-accredited U.S. colleges and universities organized by state, with links to each institution's primary Web site. Only four year institutions are listed..


  • Yahoo List of Education Resources education categories and resources.
 
Professional Associations

  • The Choice (New York Times) this college blog will keep you up to date on the latest trends on college admission, testing, and financial aid. The blog also features a lot of question-and-answer sessions with college admission officers and other higher ed experts.


 
Community Colleges
  • American Association of Community Colleges provides access to the addresses, phone numbers, and Web sites of some 2,000 community colleges in the United States.

  • U.S. Community Colleges This resource lists regionally-accredited community colleges in the U.S. with links to those with websites. Listing is available by state or alphabetically by institution's name.
