  Southwestern College Softball did a lot for me that have helped me reach my goal of playing softball at the University level. My experience with the softball program was amazing and it had to do with the turn around of the softball program. I came to Southwestern College when Coach Yasmin Mossadeghi came in turned the program around and made me love to be a part of the Southwestern College Softball Team. I enjoyed every practice and learned so much because of the dedication Coach Yasmin has for the game. I learned all the little things that made the big things that much better. It was a motivating and amazing experience.

  My college experience has been a little different than most college athletes because I am a full time student at SDSU as well as SWC. I competed for the Lady Jaguars in the 2008 season and we did phenomenal! We accomplished many of our goals and paved the way for a great future. As we gear up for a challenging 2009 season we are mentally focused and physically prepared. We look forward to competing against teams such as LMU, Palomar and Grossmont, and competing in the State Finals. SWC softball offers a chance to compete at the college level, gain leadership experience, create lasting friendships and move on to play at a four year university, international or even professional level. Playing softball at southwestern truly has been a great experience.
