Player of the Week

OVERALL PLAYER OF THE GAME:  RYAN NELSON (LOYOLA / LOS ANGLES HS) RYAN crossed te 2,000 yard barrier and has thrown for 19 TD’s on the season.  His 250 yards and 3 TD’s against SBVC led the JAGS to their 6th win in a row.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE GAME:  ROB ARMSTRONG (CASTLE PARK HS) ROB had two solo tackles, a tackle for loss and an assist.  He pressured the QB throughout the game and did a great job of block protection.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE GAME:  ANDRES CANIZALES (Chula Vista HS) ANDRES was 7 for 7 on PAT’s and had a 50 yard field goal that was good by 10 yards.  He continues to impress on his kickoff’s with 4 touchback’s forcing SBVC to start on the 20 yard line.

THE BIG STICK:  DAVID FERRIS (Bonita Vista HS)  DAVID had 12 total tackles on the night and a giant hit on the lead back of an option play.
