Player of the Week

OVERALL PLAYER OF THE GAME:  HAKIM THOMAS (Castle Park HS) Hakim defended the top receiver for the MSJC Eagles and shut him down to one reception on the night.  His stand out play was exemplified by his numerous open field one on one tackles.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE GAME:  RICK SANTOS (Bonita Vista HS) Starting every game for the JAGS as a true freshman offensive lineman, RICK has established himself as one of the top players on our team.  Each week this season RICK has battled bigger and older players and set our offense in motion.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE GAME:  BRAD CARTER (Granite Hills HS) BRAD took over the the punt return duties for the JAGS three weeks ago.  This past Saturday he was a key factor to our excellent field position.  His long return for the night was 23 yards.

THE BIG STICK:  DERRICK PERRAULT (Helix HS)  A prolific tackler for the JAGS (led our team in 2007) DERRICK came up with the BIG STICK of the night on a wr running a deep post pattern.  He set the overall tempo for the night on defense.
