PCC selects as honorable mention athletes of the week Jaguar women's basketball player Karla Medina and men's basketball player Ramon Leon. Four year universities are showing a lot of interest in Jaguar football players from the 2006 season. Schools from all over the country have come to SWC to interview players and offer scholarships to those who had taken care of business in the classroom. The Pacific Coast Conference has selected Southwestern College basketball player Nicole Anderson and San Diego Mesa basketball player Kelsey Ash as women’s Athletes of the Week for the week that ended Sunday. The JC Athletic Bureau - California Community College Football Coaches Association 2006 All-American, All California CC Football Teams and Top 20 Rankings have been announced. The Southwestern Jaguars were ranked 20th on the final Southern California top 20 list. The Jaguars evened out the season with five wins and five losses by defeating a strong San Bernardino team 36-22 in the seasons final game.
