Google Earth Exercise: This Google Earth exercise will introduce you to the popular, freely available Google Earth program (Google Earth 5.0), including 3D virtual flying, underwater exploration, flight simulator, a journey across Mars, and other applications. ArcGIS Explorer Online: This exercise will introduce you to online mapping, query, and GIS presentation.  Using ArcGIS Explorer Online, students will create a California earthquake map and a California wildfire map using freely available online data and resources.
