The photos below were taken during the first "Samba/Bossa Nights Concert" at Southwestern College Mayan Hall Theater on November 28, 2006. Featuring SWC Small Jazz Ensembles directed by Dr. Jorge L. Pastrana, and SWC Jazz Vocal Ensemble directed by adjunct faculty pianist/singer Melonie Sacalamitao.

She has been Dean of the Claire Trevor School of the Arts and Professor of Piano at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Jones is currently the Keyboard Division Coordinator and piano professor at the University of Texas, El Paso.
