PHS 101 INTRODUCTION TO THE PHYSICAL SCIENCES 3 Units Grade only. [Recommended Preparation: RDG 158 or the equivalent skill level as determined by the Southwestern College Reading Assessment or equivalent; MATH 45 or the equivalent skill level as determined by the Southwestern College Mathematics Assessment or equivalent.] Introduction to basic physics and chemistry with emphasis on the understanding and significance of accepted fundamental principles.
