BIOLOGICAL ANTHROPOLOGY

[Recommended Preparation: RDG 158 or the equivalent skill level as determined by the Southwestern College Reading Assessment or equivalent.] Introduces a natural history of humankind and scientific evidence for human evolution. Includes the study of genetics and heredity, taxonomy, the study of primates, evolutionary theory, and modern population adaptations and variation. Emphasizes skeletal analysis and the evaluation of the hominid fossil record. [D; CSU; UC]
