CNA 20 CERTIFIED NURING ASSISTANT (CNA) 5.5 Units Grade only. [Corequisite: CNA 20L. CNA 21 ACUTE CARE NURSING ASSISTANT 3 Units Grade only. [Corequisite: CNA 21L. Prerequisite: CNA 20 or equivalent. Recommended Preparation: RDG 56 or the equivalent skill level as determined by the Southwestern College Reading Assessment or equivalent.] Prepares the long-term care nursing assistant to function in the acute care setting. Follows the California state approved Acute Care Nurse Assistant model curriculum.
