SOC 110 CONTEMPORARY SOCIAL PROBLEMS 3 Units [Recommended Preparation: SOC 101 or equivalent; RDG 158 or the equivalent skill level as determined by the Southwestern College Reading Assessment or equivalent.] Examines various contemporary social problems from multiple perspectives with an emphasis on their causes and possible solutions.
