PSYC 270 STATISTICAL METHODS OF PSYCHOLOGY 3 Units [Prerequisite: PSYC/SOC 101 or equivalent; MATH 60 or the equivalent skill level as determined by the Southwestern College Mathematics Assessment or equivalent.] Emphasizes statistical methods of behavioral sciences, including sampling, basic research designs, describing distributions through graphs and tables, measures of central tendency, variability, linear correlation and regression, applications of normal probability curve, and test of significance.
