GEOL 100 PRINCIPLES OF GEOLOGY 3 Units [Recommended Preparation: RDG 158 or the equivalent skill level as determined by the Southwestern College Reading Assessment or equivalent.] Introduction to earth science. The focus of the course spans the origin of minerals and rocks, plate tectonics, and continental drift and mountain building.
