CD 135 PRINCIPLES OF FAMILY DEVELOPMENT 3 Units [Recommended Preparation: RDG 158 or the equivalent skill level as determined by the Southwestern College Reading Assessment or equivalent.] Introduces the student to historical and modern family lifestyles, functions, and values that influence behavior. Provides examination of contemporary family changes, crisis, and resilience. Analyzes nontraditional families as well as the classic nuclear family and the social support they need.
