RDG 56 INTRODUCTION TO COLLEGE READING 4 Units [Prerequisite: RDG 54 or the equivalent skill level as determined by the Southwestern College Reading Assessment or equivalent.] Focuses on vocabulary development, identification of main ideas, supporting details, inferences, fact and opinion, patterns of organization, critical thinking skills, writing about reading selections, and application of study skills at the introductory college reading level.
