HIST 132 WOMEN IN WORLD HISTORY 3 Units [Recommended Preparation: RDG 158 or the equivalent skill level as determined by the Southwestern College Reading Assessment or equivalent.] Emphasizes the ideologies, issues, and events that have shaped the lives, roles, and contributions of women throughout the world from prehistory to the present. Explores the models and images of womanhood developed by different cultures to define and determine the nature of women and their position in society.
