EMT 113L EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN LABORATORY -BASIC 3 Units Fee: $40. Grade only. [Prerequisite: EMT 113 or equivalent. Limitation on Enrollment: Student must possess a valid "Healthcare Provider" level CPR card.] Provides lecture and laboratory activities to attain competency at the EMT-Basic level. Includes competency-based skills training, community experience to observe and assess patients in a hospital emergency department (ED) and a ride-along with a Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance crew.
