ST 130 ADVANCED OPERATING ROOM TECHNIQUES 4 Units Grade only. [Prerequisite: ST 110 and 120, or equivalent. Corequisite: ST 140 and 150.] Presents advanced concepts of patient care, aseptic technique, and microbiology. Examines the subspecialties of ear, nose, throat, eye, neurosurgery, urology, pediatric, and plastic surgery. Includes augmented clinical hours in the campus laboratory, focusing on instrumentation, equipment, and supplies in the specialties of neurology, urology, ENT, eye, plastics, laparoscopic, orthopedic, and pediatric surgery.
