RDG 158 COLLEGE READING 3 Units [Prerequisite: RDG 56 or the equivalent skill level as determined by the Southwestern College Reading Assessment or equivalent.] Focuses on critical thinking and the analytical interpretation of the following college discourse modes and genres: narration (fiction and nonfiction), argumentation, persuasion, exposition and poetry.
