Southwestern College Continuing Education
We provide students with extended studies designed to support professional advancement and personal success.
Day, evening, and weekend classes are conveniently held at the Chula Vista campus, as well as at off-campus locations throughout South San Diego County.

Many classes are tuition-free, while others require a nominal fee. There are no transcripts or grades. New classes are always being added.
Noncredit courses are tuition free and are subsidized by state funds. These courses require the completion of the Noncredit Application (also completable online.) Most Noncredit classes do allow on-site registration. Course numbers for Noncredit classes start with "NC."
Fee classes are not subsidized by state funds and are led by practitioners in the field. To apply for a fee class, please go to Continuing Education in WebAdvisor or complete the Fee-Class Registration Form.
