PSYC 255 INTRODUCTION TO PSYCHOLOGICAL RESEARCH 3 Units [Prerequisite: PSYC 101 and PSYC 270, or equivalent. Recommended Preparation: RDG 158 or the equivalent skill level as determined by the Southwestern College Reading Assessment or equivalent.] Introduces scientific methodology in psychology with an emphasis on descriptive, experimental, and applied research. Teaches the American Psychological Association writing style for empirical report writing.
