MLT 80 INTRODUCTION TO THE CLINICAL LABORATORY PROFESSION 1 Unit Grade only. [Corequisite: MLT 90, MLT 100, MLT 110, and MLT 132. Recommended Preparation: RDG 158 or the equivalent skill level as determined by the Southwestern College Reading Assessment or equivalent.] Introduces functions and duties of a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), and compares and contrasts these duties to the Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS).
