GEOL 104 INTRODUCTION TO EARTH SCIENCE 3 Units [Recommended Preparation: RDG 56 or the equivalent skill level as determined by the Southwestern College Reading Assessment or equivalent.] Introduces students to the Earth's four principal reservoirs and their interconnectedness: solid earth, ocean, atmosphere, and biosphere. Emphasizes how humanity interacts with these reservoirs. Includes solar system origins and dynamics. Most appropriate for liberal studies majors. [D; CSU; UC]
