FS 12 FIRE SERVICE HYDRAULICS 3 Units Grade only. [Prerequisite: MATH 35 or equivalent.] Introduces students to hydraulics laws and formulas as they relate to fire service. Includes calculations to assure adequate water pressures and volumes at fire department operations. Emphasizes principles of fluid pressure, fire pump operation and design, hose line construction and capability, and community water supply capabilities. [D]
