Career education programs include career technical education courses that enable students to acquire job skills or prepare for transfer to a four-year institution. Career programs support the principle of gender equity. Male and female students are encouraged and supported to enter and complete any career program available.
What is a non-traditional occupation?
Definition: Occupations or fields of work, including careers in computer science, technology and other emerging high skill occupations, for which individuals from one gender comprise less than 25% of the individuals employed in each such occupation or field of work.
