Outreach and Recruitment
The Outreach office provides information about the college, programs and services, procedures, and enrollment. Services include providing potential students with specific information about admission, assessment, orientation and registration.
In addition, Outreach conducts an Early Admission program to 13 feeder high schools and 4 adult schools in the Sweetwater Union High School District. The program, allows high school seniors and adult schools to apply and register for fall semester before Southwestern College returning or continuing students. If we currently do not serve your high school the Early Admission is open to all graduating senrior.
Outreach Peer Advisors work with each of the high schools in the Sweetwater Union High School District and are available in the counseling centers to help students complete their online college application, provide dates for assessment, complete the online orientation and register for Fall classes.
We are committed to providing you with the best support to help you throughout the admissions and registration process.
We're here to help you! It is our job to connect you with the college, create awareness and generate excitement about our programs to help you reach your educational and career goals.
