Women′s Resource Center
In support of the Southwestern College mission, the Women’s Resource Center (WRC) is committed to empower, support and motivate the developmental potential of women to ensure and maintain the health of the community at large. The WRC is the doorway through which a woman can enter Southwestern College and find the support, encouragement, information and help she is seeking. The WRC provides ongoing support for Southwestern College female students to express their diversity and enhance their unique abilities.
The Women’s Resource Center was established to educate the college community to the value, rights and legal responsibilities of all people regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, sexual preference, and age or political/religious persuasion. The primary goal of the center is to serve as a resource for all women and men on campus seeking information concerning academic matters, student services, crisis assistance, child care, food, health, legal advising, housing, multi-cultural organizations and job/employment.For more information, call Women’s Resource Center (WRC) at (619) 421-6700 ext. 5805 or 5625 or stop by and visit us on the second floor of the One-Stop Student Services Center.
